in the eleventh hour,
a real solution to excessive
screen time emerged
introducing
the only distraction-blocking
Android app that cannot
be bypassed
kaizen is an
innovative screen-time app that...
...blocks all distractions
- allows usage of only apps that we consider to be constructive, available in a public whitelist
- users can submit app requests to be permanently added to the whitelist, which will be reviewed in at most 72 hours

how our whitelist was made
communication
delivery and services
finance
general tools
health
music
personal development
productivity
transportation
browsers
explicit content
gambling
social media
video games
...cannot be bypassed
- can only be removed after a certain wait period, chosen by the user before purchase (or an hour in the free trial)
- if the user chooses so, it can only be removed with the consent of up to 3 accountability partners
- besides emergency mode, there's absolutely no way to bypass restrictions without uninstalling kaiZen

...adapts to your needs
- is there a distracting app you absolutely need to keep using?
- no big deal!
- the first time you open kaiZen, you can select to keep as many non-whitelisted apps as you wish
- after setup, kaiZen will hide all distracting apps, except the ones you selected
- if you ever wish to quit using them too, you can hide them using the Zen Manager, and they will remain hidden until you remove kaiZen

...is ready for the unexpected
- need to use an obscure car parking app in a new city and it's not yet in the whitelist? and you need it right now?
no worries!
- you can enable emergency mode for up to 2 hours per week
- during this time, you can use any app without
restrictions
- emergency mode is available by default, but you can
choose to disable it right before purchase

...removes noise in more ways
than one
- provides a minimalist experience, through a monochrome home interface
- for new devices, prevents the installation of bloatware (unwanted
software included by the manufacturer)
